The game is stimulating And we have a lot of fun while we learn to Play better. Its very addictive And tense. I do recommend.
Would be wonderful if I could synchronize my progress with all devices.
Well made. But why not do some design that goes easy on the eye? The game itself can easily compete with shredder and the likes, I guess.
This program is real monster for tactics I once used this against GM and he lost embarrassingly in 16 MOVES!!!! I train on here a lot and made it to level 88 right now but over level 90 makes tactics and forced series of combination moves which are unheard if in real life except in super GM games
This has been great for me. Im a total beginner and this app along with some online websites has really accelerated my learning. The coach is fantastic because it gives you the chance to take the move back which is really helpful early on when you make blatant oversights. Lots of levels as well to keep you progressing along and feeling like youre improving.
Just as good as others(shredder,fritz)and the beautiful boards make it the best one I have on iPad

This is the most ugly app I have (had) in ms iPad. Are Young serious? This looks like 1990 and I dont even want to play this.
waste of money keeps freezing up on iPad. dont buy this one.!!! Demand your money back.
Cant start a new game, when you try to change appearance of the board or the pieces the game stops working.
Was a great app but update messed it up because idk if its a bug or something but all levels are the same and even if you switch it the CPU still plays at like lvl 5 or something. DO NOT BUY TILL NEXT UPDATE!!!
I dont see many differences between this and one dollar version(I bought this one using a different apple id). Only rating system, game statistics, and brightness change are added to it. Well, I dont mind that much cause it is worth buying...... But please add or fix these features and it will become much better app.
1. landscape mode
I usually use my ipad in a landscape mode, and almost every chess software in appstore supports it. but this app doesnt. Its really annoying to play chess while holding ipad with one hand.
2. language support
Well, I think you probably used google translator to translate english into other languages, because these translations are horrible. I hope you add language select option in the setting menu so that I can choose English rather than my mother language.
3. more engine settings - including game with clock mode
this app only has level selecting option in the menu. I wish you add more functions like;
1)game with clock(options like game in X hours), so that I can play chess like in a real chess world- with limited time. I dont want to push "force move" button to make computer move quicker. pushing this button limits computers thinking depth.
2)engine ELO rating
I want to see engines rating, not just my ELO rating.
3)engine thinking depth, thinking time
I think adding options to select these things will be impossible as this app uses level selecting, not ELO selecting, but if possible, add some options to change engines ability. That will be great.
4.Add these chess set Design
I want few more chessmen design such as
1)Alpha
2)Merida
these are simple and elegant design and making these sets will not be that difficult. Add these only in a chess++version so that it will make this version more unique and price-worthy.
5. Special option
I bought this app although I already had chess* version. But as I said above, I dont feel many differences. Make this app more special by adding something more than chess* version so that every additional purchasers like me would say "I made a good purchase! It worths more than just 7 dollars!"
------------------------------------------------------- Its been a long time since I wrote this review, but nothing has changed. In fact I only see status bar shown at the top of the screen after I updated. I want to hide status bar, but theres no option to hide it. I think this company is one of many which develops apps just for money. They even dont think about basic interface.
Great game I would give it five stars but it keeps harassing me to write a review.
