This is a fairly decent chess app just out of the gate. I look forward to getting into all the features.

Great graphics, smooth gameplay, great training mode. Love this app.

I have only been playing for about 2 years. Can beat ipad 20% of the time if all ipad is turned down as low as possible. The only thing I dont like about this game is the pieces move to fast across board. I have adjust ment on slow. Fix that so I can slow it down and leave rest alone andi be happy. Also would like to download TITAN CHESS LIKE I HAVE ON MY WINDOWS SEVEN LAP TOP. I REALLY LIKE THAT GAME A LOT BUT IPAD EASYER TO CARRY AROUND. 19-19-15 I have improved. I now have settings on level 4 quality on 6 and am winning 21% of the time. I like this game as it lets me practice new moves and improve. Thanks. Would still like. To down load Titan chess to my iPad. Shorty

This chess software has everything you need to enjoy playing a game of chess! It has different styles of pieces and chessboards, rating modes and settings, playback, choice of playing white or black, statistics, and more.

Great App. I enjoy the constant updates and the effort by developers to continually make it better. Thank you. However, I believe this is my third favorable review for this same app. There is a message from the app which states that the apps review requests are reset after every update. I am giving one last review simply to get rid of the message. This "reset" is a flawed practice. Get rid of it - rely on new customers reviews - because pushing the patience of the apps veteran users will work against you in this forum. Still the best chess app out there, but even that has limits. [Edit - July 20, 2015] Another post-game request. Another star. [Edit - Aug 24, 2015] Another request for review. Another star. This app has the largest selection of chess boards and pieces; plus the most playing options of any of the chess apps that I have tried.

Have really enjoyed this chess app. Computer is quite challenging and unpredictable, definitely sharpening my skills! Beware humans! Would give it five stars if it had some ambient music added and perhaps some basic chess theory tutorials or text included, those editions would send it over the top. Get this app you wont regret it!

I love the graphics on this program ...by far the best of any program ive seen. The basic black-and-white is very good however however the geometric chess are, wild and difficult to see on a small iPhone screen. The chest engine is very good and it plays like a human player more or less although I found it makes blunders maybe in the beginning but then it comes on strong at the end which is like a human player. On its lower levels like 1400 its very strong I pit it against Shredder and it beat a 1600 Level easily. So I think its lower-level designations are not very accurate. It has a hint feature which is rather slow it takes about two or three seconds for it to give you an answer which is a little bit slower than Shredder.
