The AI for this app is very intelligent. I dont think its even possible for a human to beat it on its highest difficulty level as it calculates so many moves in advance. Despite all this however I would like it if the developers updated this app some more and make the artificial intelligence for this game even smarter

My butt gets kicked all the time!

I play my iPhone at level 10 and it is usually a good game. However Chess Pro checks my king with unbacked queen and loses queen. This is then easy win for me. I dont want to win this way.

Have have tried quite a few. But this is the best one all around

Good program with nice customizable visuals but wouldnt stop nagging for a review every time I won.

I have three other chess games on my mobile device; this one is by far the best and the easiest to load configure and use. Super fast no hangups so far. Love it.

Play this app three or four times per week. I am not an expert player at all but I really appreciate the features and the varying levels of play.

This is a really professional app...thats STABLE. The engine is as world class as any micro architecture out there. The tools rly make evaluating ur games easy. I LOVE IT

The title says it all. I want Chess Pro for Mac and Apple TV. There is nothing for Apple TV 4, and a vey watered-down version for OS X (Mac).

This is a pretty good app for getting your games in anywhere, anytime and keeping your skills fresh. No glitches or resets which happened all the time on my last app. My biggest beef is when I have it beat and it knows I have it beat it will cheat and "force" a three repetition draw (when there are plenty of other moves it could make) just to avoid losing. That seems like poor sportsmanship.

The chess engine is pretty strong--which is a good thing. Its difficult but of course not unbeatable by any means. Wins are earned and are satisfying.

I have had Chess apps off and on over the years. This is by far the best. A ton of adjustable settings for almost everything. Dozens of choices for pieces and board color, if that is important. Lots of settings for easy,harder, hard, very hard, really very hard etc. Great training guides for the beginner. Everything works flawlessly, I am very impressed.
